In a gorgeous area in Portugal, a client bought a house in a small village.

There’s one little problem: the house doesn’t have a grid connection and there’s no chance to get a connection to the old-fashioned, already overloaded and very unreliable grid.

But! There’s plenty of sunshine in Portugal…

So, let’s think…🤔

Investigate, design…

And make an electrical diagram.

In the Netherlands, we install the energy storage system in a small container.

8x MG Energy 7.2kWh lithium battery = 57.6kWh

3x Victron 48v 8k inverter/charger for a 3-phase connection to the house

Victron MPPT’s for solar charging

Victron Cerbo for monitoring & control

Meanwhile in Portugal, 60 solar panels are installed on the roof the shed.

After thorough tests in our workshop in the Netherlands, the container is transported to Portugal, we connect the solar panels, the supply to the house and commission the system.

There we go!
