In Cadiz, Spain, we did an upgrade on the electrical systems and energy storage on a 38ft sailing yacht.

Removed 3 worn-out lead-acid batteries.

Removed a bunch of old cables and fit the new batteries in.

2x MG Energy 12v 210Ah installed. There’s room for an optional 3rd battery.

Installing the MG Energy BMS and DC distribution.

Installing the wiring to and from the MG Energy Master LV 12v 400A.
Little wardrobe cabinet in the aft cabin is fully occupied by equipment now 😅

Victron Cerbo installed at the chart table.
The Cerbo controls and monitors the entire system.

Our own boat (Dione IV) acts as a stockroom for cables and materials 😅

A bunch of obsolete cables goes to the metal recycling…

Job done.
The client is happy with the great improvement.
Before: “We can’t use our coffee machine in the evening because the batteries go down”
After: “Completely self-sufficient. Using solar energy, we can spend unlimited days at anchor.”
