On both sides of the roof of a large house, the owner has placed 160 big solar panels. This generates a total peak power of over 50 kW.

To self-consume this energy as much as possible, we install an energy storage system with a capacity of 120 kWh and a total inverter power of 60 kW (6x Victron 48v10 kW 3-fase) in the technical room of the house.

8 racks of 2x MG Energy 24v 300Ah batteries

6x Victron Quattro 48v 10k in parallel 3-phase configuration.

After a brief period of adjusting we reach a setting where the consumption comes either directly from the solar panels, or from the batteries (when there is no sunshine). The surplus of energy is being fed back to the grid.
